In the beginning, all was dull and God painted. And because God painted the sky became blue - and purple - and pink and rainbows hang there . The grass became green and the birds and butterflies became multihued creatures. Our parish retreat will be a joyful celebration of the beauty of God’s colorful creation and our role as “painters” in the world.
So join the colorful fun during the weekend of May 16 at Chanco on the James, Surry, VA. This year our retreat will be facilitated by the Rev. Rhonda Wheeler, St. Andrew’s, Newport News. It will be a memorable weekend with activities for all ages. Our parish retreat is a wonderful opportunity to truly get to know your church family. Registration has already begun!
Our annual breakfast for high school and college graduates is Sunday, June 8. Graduates and their immediate family are invited to attend. Call the church office to make reservations.
