Music at the Sunday morning 8:30 and 11:00 worship services at Emmanuel is selected to reflect the day's scripture readings and/or the season of the Church Year. Both piano, keyboard and organ are used, sometimes with guitar, drum, or other instruments.
The primary songbooks used are the Hymnal 1982 and our own songbook. We sing an eclectic mix of traditional, gospel, renewal, and contemporary Christian hymns.
All are welcome to join our music ministries - no auditions! Contact the music minister if you'd like more information.
Senior Choir - Rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the choir room. Anyone from high school to age infinity is welcome to participate.
Handbell Choir - Rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:30 in the choir room. Anyone from Grade 6 and older is encouraged to join.
Children's Choir - Rehearses on Sunday at 12:30 (following the 11:00 service). All children from age 6 through 5th grade are welcome.
