Emmanuel Episcopal Church has been faithfully serving the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach for over 160 years. Our parish is blessed with a membership that is diverse, exuberant, and filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, kindness, gentleness and joy. On our journey through the 21st century, we are a strong, vital and vibrant parish of approximately 800 baptized members.
As you will see from our web page we offer a wide variety of spiritual opportunities and activities for all ages. On Sunday mornings our Sunday School program offers "Godly Play" to our youngest children, "Journey to Adulthood" for our Junior and Senior High students, and two programs for adults (Bible study and a speaker's forum). We observe our faith in Jesus Christ seriously yet joyfully. We invite you to join us for Holy Eucharist to celebrate with us Christ's resurrection and victory over sin and death.
